Additional information has now been released regarding a three-vehicle accident occurring Monday afternoon on the Chesnut Bypass.

According to the Centre Police Department accident report those involved included 36 year old Michael Anthony of Centre, driving a 1998 Honda Accord; 17 year old Colton East from Jacksonville driving a 2016 Dodge Charger and Haven Vaughn age 17 from Centre in a 2015 Nissan Altima.

Both Anthony and East escaped injury; however Vaughn was transported by private vehicle to Floyd Cherokee in Centre to be checked out while a juvenile passenger in her vehicle was taken by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center in Rome for treatment.

No additional information regarding the condition of the juvenile has been made available.

That accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
