Derek Hunter Parr, age 26 and Ann Ruth Parr, 79, were arrested Friday following execution of a search warrant at their Coosa Avenue residence in Floyd County, Georgia, during which drugs were reportedly discovered. According to Floyd County Jail Records, police found methamphetamine, marijuana, several sets of digital scales, hypodermic needles, and smoking devices at the residence.
In addition to drug charges, Derek Parr was charged with Obstructing a Police Officer, after he resisted arrest and injured an officer.
Police stated there was also an infant child inside the residence, whose life was endangered as a result of the presence of the illegal substances.
