Portion of County Road 14 South of Ellisville Now Closed for Bridge Replacement Project

 

The Cherokee County Highway Department would like to remind everyone that a portion of County Road 14 south of Ellisville is now closed for a bridge replacement. The bridge closed Monday morning, October 28th.

During this time ALL TRAFFIC WILL BE DETOURED with the exception of local traffic.

The road remains closed at the intersection of Cherokee County Road 59 on the west end and Alabama Highway 9 on the east end.

It is anticipated that the bridge will remain closed for approximately two months depending on weather conditions. During this time all traffic will be detoured along County Road #178 near the Mountain Springs Community.
