One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident taking place in Calhoun County early Monday morning.  That collision took place at 5:55am, at the intersection of Highway 278 and County Road 19.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, that mishap involved a Ford F-150 and a Kia Sorento, with the driver of the Kia, a female resident of Piedmont, receiving injuries – while the driver of the Ford, a male resident of Centre, was unhurt.

The report didn’t make note of the extent of the woman’s injuries.

That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
