State Troopers responded to three auto accidents involving injuries in Cherokee County on Monday.

The first taking place on U.S. Highway 278 at 6:35pm, injuring the female driver, listed on the report as a resident of Piedmont; with the second wreck occurring just a short time later, at 7:05pm on County Road 8 leaving both the driver, a male resident of Piedmont and another occupant in the vehicle hurt.

The last accident took place just prior to midnight on County Road 921 – it was yet another single-vehicle wreck.  The driver, listed as a Gaylesville resident, was listed on the report as being hurt in that mishap.

All three accidents remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
