There was yet another accident taking place in front of the Centre Walmart Friday morning – this one involving either two or three vehicles. A passenger car was pulling out of the parking lot at the red light when it somehow collided with a pickup appearing to be traveling toward Leesburg – a third vehicle was also possibly involved, however that has yet to be determined. Floyd EMS responded, and checked out the occupants of both the car and truck at the scene as a precautionary message. The Centre Fire Department and Police Departments responded, and we’ll have additional information following the release of the police department accident report.
That wreck occurred just prior to 10:00am.
