Connie Lee Clifton age 92 of Centre passed away Saturday October 5th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday October 7th at Centre First Baptist Church with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Oaknoll Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM at the church.

Pallbearers include Larry Paul Maddox, John Ward, Randy Davis, Wendell Rackstraw, Gary Hopper and James Burkhart.

Survivors include son, Steve Pendergrass of Centre; daughter, Patricia (Lamar) Whitfield of Rome, Ga.; brother, Herman Gladden of Cedartown, Ga.; sister, Evelyn Holland of Tallapoosa, Ga.; granddaughter, Misty Lee (David) White.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Waynard Gladden, Lawrence Gladden, Buren Gladden, Cohan Gladden and Wayman Gladden; sisters, Agnes Sanders and Alice Harris. 

Mrs. Clifton was a native of Tallapoosa, Ga. and the daughter of the late Arlin and Ruth Cornelious Gladden and a member of Centre First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centre First Baptist Church.
