A 19 year old Cedar Bluff man was booked into the Floyd County Jail over the weekend on charges of child molestation, sexual battery on a child under the age of 16, simple battery, and simple assault.
According to jail records, Ka’Andre Ivory Starr molested a female under the age of 16 at a location on the Alabama Highway in Rome back on June 29th of this year (2019). He also allegedly attempted to take the victim’s bikini bottoms off and then held her against a wall saying he wouldn’t let her go unless she gave him a kiss.
Starr was booked into jail on Saturday.
