Fred William Goodwin Sr., age 61, of Centre, passed away Saturday September 7th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Tuesday September 10th at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 P.M. until 3P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Dewayne Goodwin, Lewayne Goodwin, Austin Goodwin, David Goodwin, Bob Goodwin, Lee Spires, Todd Beuckins.
Honorary Pallbearers include Evan Goodwin and Ian Goodwin.
Survivors include sons Austin Goodwin of Centre, Fred William Goodwin Jr. of Centre; daughter Brandy Goodwin of Centre; Mother Bobbie Goodwin of Sand Rock; brothers Lewayne Goodwin of Piedmont, Dewayne Goodwin of TX., Allen Goodwin of Sumpter, TN., David Goodwin of Cave Spring, GA., Bob Goodwin of Sand Rock; sister Carol McWilliams of Leesburg; and 9 grandchildren Landyn and Laklyn Anthony, Xylyn and Jazzlyn Law, Navy, Ayden, Dasyn, Emmett, and Arabella Spires
Mr. Goodwin was a native of Cherokee County; the son of the late Horace Goodwin, and was a Church of Christ faith.
