Two Accidents Reported in Cherokee County On Sunday Morning

Two accidents were reported in Cherokee County on Sunday morning. The first was a single vehicle accident occurring on Alabama Highway 35 just South of County Road 784, the Gaylesville Fire Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Floyd EMS were dispatched to that location. It appears that no one was injured.

The second was a two vehicle accident occurring just minutes later on East Main Street near the Centre Middle School. The Centre Police and Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Rescue Squad personnel were called to that location. Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee said that one person was transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
