A Half-Dozen Arrested Wednesday on Controlled Substance Charges

A half-dozen drug arrests were made Wednesday in Cherokee County.

Those included Alysia Shyann Brittingham, age 23 of Collinsville – Dylan Lee Edwards 25 of Centre – Janet Leighann Wigley, age 43 of Cedar Bluff – and Terry DeWayne McBride age 42 of Centre – each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

April Denise Hooper, age 35 of Centre, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Appear on previous counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Jamie Lester Ball, 28 of Centre was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and with one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with the exception of Terry DeWayne McBride, who was released upon meeting his $3,000 bond. Bond for Brittingham and Wigley has been set at $3,000 each; at $2,500 for Edwards and at $5,500 for Ball. Bond for Hooper has yet to be set.
