Elton Beason age 79 of Cedar Bluff passed away Wednesday September 4th at
his residence. 

Graveside services will be 3 PM Thursday September 5th at Mt. Zion
Independent Church (Rhinehart) Cemetery with Rev. Randy Harwood
officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 PM
Thursday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers include Lonnie Hairel, Paul Sanford, Dustin Hairel, Phillip
Luna, Dalton Washburn and Ronnie Hairel. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sandra Ray Beason of Cedar Bluff;
daughters, Tammy (Lonnie) Hairel and Sonya (Paul) Sanford; grandchildren,
Dustin and Kayla Hairel, Phillip and Lauren Hairel Luna, Kyndal and Khloe
Sanford and Dalton Washburn; chosen children, Tim, Randy and Vickie
Harwood, Diane Mobbs and Kimberly Bryan; great-grandchildren, Molly and
Bryson Hairel and Gatlin Thompson; several siblings and extended family. 

Mr. Beason was a native of Dekalb County and the son of the late Clarence
Lee and Willodean Guffey Beason and was of the Baptist Faith. His life
best described as Blessed. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Diabetes
Association, American Heart Association or Alzheimers Association.
