Mr. Roy Lee Sterling, age 87 of Sand Rock, passed away Saturday at his residence.

Funeral services will be from the graveside Tuesday, September 3, 2019, 6pm in the Hunt’s Chapel Cemetery with the Family receiving friends at the Collinsville Funeral Home Tuesday from 3-5pm.

Survivors include his children: Don (Bobbie) Sterling, Jeannie (Roger) Nichols, and Brent Sterling; Grandchildren: Marcie Foster, Jason Foster, Amanda Sterling, Jennifer Sterling, Cole (Julie Ann) Sterling, Tyler (Haley) Sterling; Great grandchildren: Tanner, Dylin, Scarlett and Willow Tucker.

Pallbearers: Don Sterling, Roger Nichols, Cole Sterling, Tyler Sterling, Randy Morgan, and Bobbie Higginbotham.

Mr. Sterling was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lizzie Sterling; Sister: Jewel Dutton; Brothers: Charles Sterling, Ernest Sterling and Mother of his Children: Mable Sterling.

The family extends a Special Thanks to the staff of Pro Health Hospice and the Office of Dr. Brian Perry and to Jean Stone, Raponaza Stallings and Denise Hutchins.
