Gayla Jo Floyd age 60 of Centre passed away Friday August 30th at Cherokee Floyd Medical Center. A memorial service will be announced later.

Survivors include husband, Ricky Floyd of Centre; sons, Buddy Floyd of Centre; Daughter, Jennifer Pruitt of Piedmont; sisters, Angie Deberry of Centre and Rhonda Pierce of Centre; grandchildren, Shannon, Savannah and Devin; several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Floyd and brother, Randy Acker. Mrs. Floyd was a native of CHEROKEE COUNTY and the daughter of the late Herbert and Faye Acker and was of the Baptist Faith.
