William “Dub” Farley age 81 of Collinsville passed away Thursday August
22nd at his residence.  

A memorial service will be 1 PM Sunday August 25th at Perry Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. 

Survivors include wife, Cynthia Whorton Farley of Collinsville; daughter,
Kendra Farley of Centre; brothers, Larry (Linda) Farley, Charles (Sandra)
Farley and Thomas (Pam) Farley all of Collinsville and Roy (Jackie) Farley
of Attalla; sisters, Dorothy Saum of Collinsville, Betty Schaefbauer of
Collinsville, Kaye Slaton of Arab and Nell (Bruce) Wheeler of Decatur;
grandchildren, Gunter, Tanner, Dawson and Lexi; great-grandchildren,
Colton and Chloe; several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Farley and Freddie Farley;
sister, Martha Farley. 

Mr. Farley was a native of Etowah County and the son of the late John
William and Susan Bond Farley and a member of Faith Baptist Church. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to America Cancer Society or St.
Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
