Rome Resident Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Cherokee County Tuesday Afternoon

A northwest Georgia resident was injured in a two-vehicle wreck, taking place late Tuesday afternoon on Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that collision occurred at approximately 5:45pm – involving a 1998 Ford being driven by a Rome, Georgia resident and a 2007 Chevrolet driven by a resident of Centre.

The driver of the Ford was listed on the report as having been hurt in that mishap, although no additional information was available.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
