Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Etowah County on Monday evening.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report places the time of the wreck as 6:55 on U.S. 278 – involving a 1996 Mazda and a 2008 Lexus.
A passenger in the Mazda, and the driver of the Lexus – both listed as residents of Piedmont – were both hurt in the mishap although no additional information was noted regarding the extent of their injuries.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
