We had reports of a single vehicle accident occurring in the 7000 block of County Road 19 at approximately 6:15 a.m. this morning. A resident in the area reported the accident to Cherokee 911 after hearing what was described as a ‘loud boom’ in the area.
Sheriff’s Office deputies, Mt. Weisner Firefighters, Floyd EMS and Rescue Squad personnel were all called to the scene.
Initial reports indicated that the driver was out of the car and walking around when deputies arrived.
