A 38-year old Centre resident was booked in at the Floyd County Jail on Sunday on a felony warrant charging him with theft by taking.

According to the arrest warrant, Joshua Steven Clifton went into someone else’s property in Floyd County, taking a number of items – including brass fittings, radiators, electric motors, transmissions, scaffolding, and other building materials.

The items taken from the property amounted to over $30,000, according to the warrant.

The alleged thefts occurred back on March 4th of this year.
