According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency there were two separate single-vehicle accidents occurring on Alabama Highway 9 in the Cedar Bluff area on Sunday night, neither involving injuries.
The first took place at around 7:30 and involved a 2017 Toyota, with the second involving a 2005 Nissan which left the roadway and struck a power pole near Extermco – leaving many in the area without power for an extended period of time.
Cedar Bluff Police and Fire units – along with troopers, Floyd EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad all responded.
