One person was hurt in a motorcycle accident in Cherokee County over the weekend.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports, the single-vehicle wreck involving the bike took place at approximately 12:30pm Sunday on Highway 411 just south of Leesburg near County Road 249.
The report indicated that as a result, one individual was hurt, and transported to a Gadsden area hospital for treatment.
What led to the driver losing control remains under investigation by State Troopers.
