Cherokee County Emergency Personnel Respond to Possible Cardiac Arrest Episode on Terrapin Creek Thursday

Cherokee County rescue personnel responded to a distress call regarding a possible cardiac arrest episode at Terrapin Creek Thursday afternoon around 4:00.

Those arriving at the location off of County Road 18 including members of the Ellisville Fire Department, Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Floyd EMS – made their way down a small trail where they met a male subject who had been kayaking when he began feeling unwell.

He was transported from the scene to Floyd Cherokee Medical Center for treatment – at the time, no additional information has been released regarding the man’s condition.
