The unnamed victim was taken by Redmond EMS to an area hospital where he immediately underwent surgery.  He is currently listed in stable condition.

Investigators took two suspects into custody Tuesday afternoon at a home on Highway 9 in the Ellisville community.  Anthony Matthew Gilreath of Centre 29, and Stephen Eric Parker, 47 from Lindale, Georgia were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center where they were each booked in on a charge of Attempt to Commit Murder.
