Chad Foshee officiating; burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Levi Cochran, Caleb Ransum, Zak Abernathy, Landon Lawson, Dennis Berg, Jerrod Cavin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all personal friends.
Survivors include parents Tommy and Lisa Cavin Hill of Centre; brother Drew Hill of Centre; sister Chelsea Hill of Centre; grandparents Jerry and June Cavin of Rome, GA., Mary Hill of Centre; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Derek was a native of Cherokee County; was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church #2, and was employed with Central Electrical.
