One person was injured in a single vehicle accident after their truck left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the truck went through some small trees then crashed into a power pole on Highway 68 in Gaylesville, located near the Weiss Lake Bed n’ Breakfast, shortly after 11:00 Monday morning.
Those responding to the scene included Gaylesville Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers.
The driver of the truck was transported by Floyd EMS to a local hospital.
It’s unclear at this point what led to the accident occurring, as it is under investigation.
