A single vehicle crash on Saturday has claimed the life of a Cullman man. Nick Alexander Smith, 46, was injured when the 1999 GMC Suburban he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Smith, who was not using a seat belt, was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. The crash occurred at 12:55 p.m. on Cullman County 1693 one mile north of Fairview. ALEA Troopers continue to investigate the crash, and nothing further is available.
