Liberty Day Makes its’ Triumphant Return

After a two-year hiatus, the widely popular Liberty Day returns to the town of Cedar Bluff on Friday, June 28th. Due to financial issues, the town had no choice but to cancel the event the previous two years.

Here is an official statement from the town’s Facebook page on this year’s event:

You can also visit their website to fill out a vendor slip at cedarbluff-al.org

In the past, the event drew large crowds of people from Cherokee County, as well as, neighboring counties. It has helped out the town of Cedar Bluff tremendously and it gives the local people an opportunity to get out and enjoy the summer weather; and a fireworks show to wrap it all up!

Along with the many local vendors, our WEIS Radio Road Crew will be at the event interacting with the people and giving away free hats and t-shirts!
