Gary Coffey, age 67 of Piedmont, passed away Friday, May 31st at his residence.

Survivors include sons, Jeremy (April) Coffey of Birmingham, David (Ryan) Coffey of Tampa, FL; sister, Barbara Blackwell of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Caleb Coffey, Carys Coffey; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Coffey was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Mack and Opal Kisor Coffey and was retired from Vado.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Mack Coffey and a sister, Martha Hufstetler.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 5:PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Children’s Cancer Research.
