Additional details have been released regarding the crash that killed Auburn University Broadcaster Rod Bramblett and his wife Paula

According to a report from WIAT CBS 42, the police report said that the driver of the vehicle that struck the Bramblett’s vehicle “fell asleep” at the wheel and does not remember the crash.

The Brambletts were waiting in their car when the teenage driver stuck them, pushing the Bramblett’s vehicle into the pedestrian crossing signal and a traffic light pole before coming to a stop. 

No other information has been released at this time.
