A fisherman discovered a body of man in Lake Guntersville on Sunday morning.
Marshall County Coroner Cody Nugent said the fishermen located the body about two miles north of Guntersville around 10:30. Nugent believes the man was in his mid-40s.
Both the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office are in the midst of investigating the situation.
The body will be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for identification.
At this point, no additional information is being released.
