Centre Cub Scout Pack #247 to Adopt Jonathan Pratt Memorial Park this Saturday and Perform Clean Up

This Saturday June 1st Cub Scout Pack #247 will be adopting Jonathan Pratt Memorial Park in Centre to help out with renovations and to shed some light on the park.  The ceremony will take place at 9:00am, while the renovation will start around 10:00.

Pack #247 is led by Josh Keshmiri, who recently stopped by the WEIS Radio studio and told us a little bit about the pack and about the event coming up this Saturday.

Cub Scout Troop #247 has worked with the City of Centre on a variety of projects and has also performed a number of clean up projects at Cherokee Rock Village. Keshmiri says the public is encouraged to come join in and give a helping hand to the troop on Saturday:

The scouts meet at the big green building across from the Centre Park at various times and days for each troop:

Wolves: at 5:00pm every Monday

Bears: at 5:30pm every Thursday

Lions: at 9:00am every Saturday
