Those seeking bargains, odds and ends, knick-knacks and just plain unusual items from the storage buildings, barns and closets of those along the way – get ready for the Antique Alley Yard Sale coming up this Thursday – Sunday (May 16th – 19th)! 

This event takes place each year on the weekend after Mother’s Day, and stretches a total of 502 miles from Meridian, Mississippi to Bristol, Virginia, and even though the route doesn’t actually run through Cherokee County it’s awfully close, going through parts of neighboring Etowah and DeKalb counties, including Attalla, Keener and Reece City in Etowah and Valley Head, Hammondville, Ft Payne and Collinsville in DeKalb.
