On Wednesday (May 8th) an accident occurred on West Main Street in Centre shortly after the 12 o’clock hour in front of Ray’s Saws.
The two vehicle wreck had one lane of traffic blocked for a short period of time with Centre Police and Fire quickly responding to the scene.
The motorists that were involved were Ashley Leonard, 31 of Centre, driving a 2007 Kia Sorento, and Shirley Reece, 65 of Centre, driving a 2011 Ford Explorer.
Both drivers were treated and released from the scene by Floyd EMS.
The accident remains under investigation by the Centre PD.
