Jerry Baker Sits Down With Congressman Mike Rogers To Discuss Border Security, Immigration & The Mueller Report

3rd District Congressman Mike Rogers sat down with WEIS Radio’s Jerry Baker on Tuesday afternoon talking serious issues like the record number of people illegally crossing our border and the humanitarian crisis our country is facing.

Congressman Rogers recently had the honor of traveling with President Trump and his staff aboard Air Force One on a tour of the southern border, Rogers talked about being able to set eyes on the new structure for the border fencing.

The Congressman said that this was an opportunity to bring in Border Patrol Agents in front of the Media to answer questions about the number of individuals illegally crossing into the United States.

Rogers said that in the next few days President Trump will making a legislative proposal for special appropriation to give the Border Patrol money to deal with ongoing issues at the border.

Another hot topic discussed was the recent release of the Mueller report. We asked Rogers at what point the matter would get dropped so that Congress can get on with doing the business of the people, Rogers had this to say.
