Seven was far from a lucky number for those swept up by Cherokee County authorities on a list of controlled substance crimes on Monday.

Caitlin Nicole Ward, age 32; Hazel Pauline Burgess, age 58; Carl Lewis Cramer age 34; Jason Lee Ledbetter, 43; Jeffrey Patrick Harvey, age 33; Jennifer Kay Tierce, 36 and Priscilla Jayne Spradling, also 36 – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ward was also charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree, and Lewis received a Bond Revocation. Harvey, Ledbetter, Tierce and Spradling were additionally charged with Receiving Stolen Property 4th Degree.

All seven currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.

Bond for Ward has been set at $5,500 / $3,000 for Burgess / $3,500 for Harvey / $3,000 for Ledbetter / $3,000 for Tierce / and $3,500 for Spradling.  Bond has yet to be set for Lewis.
