An 18 wheeler found itself in a ditch on Monday morning, with its trailer blocking a portion of County Road 11.

The report came in to dispatchers just after 8, and the wreck occurred on the stretch of road that curves around Sand Rock United Methodist Church, just past the school.

Commuters traveling on County Road 11 were certainly in need of some detour options, luckily Cemetery Drive and other county roads provided such an option for drivers that came up upon the accident.

Current reports do not indicate any injuries to the driver of the big rig or the cause of the accident at this time, but we will keep you up to date once more information becomes available.
