Your pets and animals are going to be healthier thanks to a new business just outside of Leesburg.

Marks Animal Hospital, located at 210 US Highway 411 S just outside of Leesburg, was honored during the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce’s latest ribbon cutting ceremony.  Dr. Lauren Marks, whom has ties to Cherokee County through her Sand Rock residence, is the owner of the hospital and is a doctorate graduate in veterinary medicine from Auburn University.

WEIS had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Marks following the ribbon cutting about her operation, and one of the big points she wants people to know is the size of the animal does not matter when it comes to her treatments.

The Animal Hospital currently houses 5 employees, and all are ready to serve the community!
