A Chattooga County man is behind bars – after allegedly using a rifle to fire two shots at his wife early Monday morning. She was reportedly unharmed.
According to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, a manhunt was initiated for 42 year old Mark Trammell after he reportedly fled on foot following reports of the incident which took place at 695 Welcome Hill Road.
Trammell is accused of aggravated assault.
He was taken into custody shortly after 10:30am.
