Law enforcement officials made several drug arrests over the weekend across Cherokee County.

On Friday, 45 year old Tonya Sue Jackson and 46 year old Bryan Ray Folsom were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both are currently being held on a $3,000 bond.

Five individuals were arrested on Saturday. 22 year old Thomas Andrew Miller, 18 year old Alana Dawn Ashley, Christina Drew Ashley, age 20 and 21 year old David Morgan Pannell were all booked into the detention center on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All four were released after posting bonds of $1,000 each.

58 year old Fonda Whaley Ross was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI of a Controlled Substance; she currently remains in jail on a bond of $4,500.

These arrests were made based on probable cause, all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
