Thomas Eldridge Rowan age 85 of Morrow, Ga. passed away Thursday March21st.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday March23rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Reynolds officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Lookout Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Survivors include wife, Helen Hufstetler Rowan of Morrow, Ga.; sons, Kyle (Sherry) Rowan of Greenville, SC. and Lance Rowan of McDonough, Ga.; sister, Shirley Brown of New Brockton, Al.; grandchildren, Shelly Rowan and Holder (Noelle) Rowan both of Greenville, SC.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, J.L. Rowan and Charley Rowan; sisters, Mildred Henderson, Maurine Neeley, Ethel Selman, Lucille McMichen and Jean West; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Mr. Rowan was a native of Dekalb County and the son of the late John Thomas and Saronah Elizabeth Barkley Rowan and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Ga. He worked for Delta Airlines for 27 years as an aircraft mechanic.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Ga.
