Tim Pentecost (left), Secretary of the Weiss Lake Improvement Association presented Virgil Beatenbo of Cedar Bluff a check for catching a $1000 tagged crappie.
Mr. Beatenbo said he was shooting docks in the Yellow Creek area when he caught the big money fish. He took it straight to Bay Springs Motel & Marina to cash in it in.
