The Steak Barn Meat Market Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

One of Centre’s most popular restaurants now features an exciting new addition – the Steak Barn Meat Market, next to Tony’s Steak Barn at 804 Alexis Road in Centre – offers in-house cut fresh meats to the public.

Following the recent Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony, owner Tony Wilkie took the opportunity to speak with us about his new business venture and gave us an  overview of their services.

Mr. Wilkie did offer additional information regarding large orders, asking those wishing to purchase in bulk to give the Meat Market a lead time of four to five days when calling in. He also pointed out to us what he wants to offer as a service to local businesses.

Additionally, Mr. Wilkie also shared a special story around a pair of items he was gifted related to one of his biggest inspirations, Mr. David Day.

He went on to say he hopes to put the gifted knives into a shadow box to place alongside the picture of Mr. Day that currently sits in the Meat Market as a special showcase.
