An Etowah County woman was found to be in possession of drugs as she was being booked into jail on unrelated charges.
According to the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit – 38 year old Carrie Fay Drake of a Gadsden address was charged with two counts of the Possession of Controlled Substance as well as Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree.
The drugs found by the deputies included ecstasy, methamphetamine and marijuana.
Drake was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center with bond set at $11,500.
