The Cherokee County Revenue Commission, in conjunction with our mapping contractor Keet Consulting Services, has created an Ariel map of the flood damage of Weiss Lake from February 2019.

Please note this map is an approximation of the flood area using the 572′ contour which is slightly above the actual crest of the water. Please keep in mind some highlighted areas may not have been affected as well as some other areas may have been affected but are not highlighted.

Hopefully this map will provide visual context of just how widespread and catastrophic the damage is within our county. The link to the interactive map is provided here.
