According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report one person was hurt in an two-vehicle wreck involving a car and an 18-wheeler early Wednesday morning roughly a mile from the Alabama/Georgia line on Alabama Highway 9.

That collision took place at 6:10am, and involved a 2008 Chevrolet being driven by January Gable of a Centre address and a 2015 Freightliner, driven by Michael Quiggle from Semmes, Alabama.  Gable was listed on the report as being hurt in the mishap however no additional information regarding her condition was available. 

It was noted that she was wearing her seat belt at the time.

Cedar Bluff firefighters and Floyd EMS both responded to the location – that wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
