Cherokee County EMA Has Opened A Shelter For Flood Victims

The Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency has opened a Shelter for those displaced by the flooding. The Shelter is open in the Activity Center on the Campus of Cherokee Health and Rehab in Centre. Hot meals, showers, and a place to sleep will be made available. The shelter is supported by the American Red Cross.

Please Let Those Displaced by the flooding know about this shelter. While it is unfortunate, due to allergies and other issues there will not be any animals allowed in the shelter with the only exception being service animals. Please make suitable arrangements for your pets prior to coming to the shelter.
