Cherokee County Placed Under A Slight To Marginal Risk For Severe Weather Saturday Evening Through Sunday

Severe Weather Update  The National Weather Service has upgraded portions of far northwest Central Alabama to a *Moderate Risk* for severe weather starting late Saturday afternoon. The potential exists for strong tornadoes, 60 mph damaging winds, and quarter size hail.
