One person was taken to Gadsden Regional following a single vehicle accident occurring at approximately 5:42 a.m. Friday on Alabama Highway 9 south near the Centre-Piedmont-Cherokee County airport.
The Ellisville Fire Department, Floyd EMS units, Cherokee County Rescue squad units and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the accident involved a 2003 Honda driven by Keith Allred of Centre. Allred was listed as being injured in the accident.
