Cedar Bluff Woman Jailed After Violating Protective Order

A Cherokee County woman was recently arrested after violating a protective order that had been placed against her by her husband.

According to a report by Coosa Valley News in Rome, 28 year old Amanda Hope Lawson of Cedar Bluff stands accused of sending multiple messages to her husband via the app Marco Polo – which sends video messages to a person’s contacts.

Lawson was not to have any contact with her husband, according to that protective order.  She was placed under arrest – charged with Aggravated Stalking, after her husband notified law enforcement about the messages he had received.
