Mrs. Lucille Williamson, age 111 of Centre, passed away on Sunday, January 27th at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:AM Friday February 1st at Centre First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Davis and Rev. R.G. Wilson-Lyons officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:AM Friday at the Church.
Pallbearers include Dr. Brian Perry, Ben Arnold, Gary Davis, Matt Coley, BJ Major, Jason St. Clair, Jody St. Clair.
Survivors include her daughter, Glendacile (Wallace) Lyons of Centre; 2 grandchildren, R.G. (Mary Page) Wilson-Lyons of Birmingham, Webb (Sara Doughton) Lyons of Washington, DC; 4 great grandchildren, Nina Kate Wilson-Lyons, Susanna Lucille Doughton Lyons, Julian Wilson-Lyons, Marie Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Williamson and sister, Evelyn Henderson Jordan.
Mrs. Williamson was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Annie Kathlene Webb Henderson and was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church.
